Thursday, August 21, 2014. Today was the first day of school! Destrie is in the 4rth grade this year. We are so proud of him! Madee is in the 11th grade this year! I failed to get a picture of her though. We are hoping for a great year! Monday, August 18, 2014. Found this picture today while cleaning out my email.

Tuesday, January 8, 2013. So I have not updated my blog in quite a while. But to catch up Michael and I had our first little boy on October 30, 2012. His name is Strider Howard Silvester. He is so precious and such a blessing in our lives. He was born at 8 lbs 12 oz. The first group of pictures were taken when he was one month old. These are the pictures of his birth. And just random ones of him growing, smiling, with cousins, and more.

These are the first family pictures we have had taken in about 6 years. Pretty pathetic I know! But they did turn out great! Thursday, March 18, 2010. Mercedes could pull on his ears, jab his eyes, and climb all over him and he loved every minute of it. He was a very loving dog and he loved to play. He was only 6 years old.
Friday, December 23, 2011. I am doing what I always wanted to do. be a mom! I am blessed to have great kids. I get to go and support them in each of their many activities. I am also married to an amazing man.

Recipe Reviews with Jen. I have hundreds of new recipes that I have been collecting and wanting to try. This blog will be my motivation to actually try some of these new recipes.
