It has taken some getting used to. We waited forever for Kenna to come home. And we worked our butts off to make it happen. We struggled to make the home ready for her, safe for her. We struggled to learn how to care for her, since this little one came home with hardware and pumps and monitors.

It was a dream day for our precious girl. I try to protect my heart by keeping people at a distance. From far away through Facebook posts, phone calls and emails its okay but up close, in my face, not so much. I try my hardest to separate my yearnin.

Friday, August 7, 2015. Back Home and Why? This will be a short post. Beanie did well with my parents, except that she got a cold last Sat which she passed on to me. I was a nervous wreck from last Sat to Wed when I had to leave - eating Vit C, Zi. cam, salt water gargles you name it! Whatever I could do to keep myself able to travel, which I did although it was not fun since I was under the weather and by the end of day yesterday after 8 hrs of talking my voice was totally gone! .

But that aside, we are making strides as a family. This past weekend, we want to the zoo though W slept through it.

Ranting, raving, burning bridges and moving forward. So yeah, I changed my mind. It really has meant a lot. Cerclage was placed 2 weeks ago, at which point I began bed rest. I gave out the address.
