I started this blog as a project for another class I took in our program. I used it for a while and have it linked to a page I have on my school library wiki. To start I will share a book I recently read for myself, but would recommend it to younger readers perhaps eighth grade and up. Another wonderful book I read recently was.

We will be reading one book a month. We will have weekly group discussions if you are interested with a final discussion at the end of the month. The new book choice for the following month will be posted at least two weeks before the beginning of the new month. You can pick and choose if you want to participate. Making sure that children can read on grade level by the end of second grade is critical for their future development. Everything depends on it, self-confidence, future careers, and being able to succeed in school. It is such a small thing, but necessary for future success. How much is too much? How much is not enough? .
