Reading is Key!

Monday, February 2, 2009. Tangerine by Edward Bloor. Wow, cant believe I forgot to blog this one. Tangerine is a great read for 7th grade students with amazing themes of diversity, ethinicity, and multi-culturalism. The kids got very wrapped up in this story, and got MAD at the villian! It was fun to watch them grow to hate this character. The plot is very fast-paced, and there are lots of twists and turns to it. Great class read for middle school, but probably wouldnt read it above 7th grade. Farrar, .
