Wednesday, June 14, 2017. An old rug and a not so old story. This is the story of how I met my dear online friend Linda Low of Newfoundland. Linda and I were just about to meet in person but Linda left this world in 2015 to teacher rug hooking in heaven. We met when Linda became a member of The Wooly Mason Jar Rug Hooking group on Facebook and asked the question on how to fix a Cheticamp rug. These rugs were hooked on huge frames wi.

Thursday, August 2, 2012. A couple of fun things. I have always loved this Topsy Turvy Scarecrow pattern. From Happy Hallow Designs! Last summer I found it at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum Garage Sale. I pulled it out to put together last weekend when I was home with a cold.

Thursday, 23 July 2015. Successful exhibition and workshop then back to Paris. My exhibition at the Scottish textile museum in Hawick, Scotland seems to be very successful with lots of positive feedback. I was very pleased with the way the pieces had been displayed. The workshop too was very successful with everyone enjoying trying new things and some right out of their comfort zone. Back to my Paris project now. I used the design of the oak leave for a couple of pieces.

I was recently featured in a Newsletter online by a good friend of mine Pam Frye. What an honour to have someone highlight my work in this way and I was very touched when she approached me to be featured as her artist of the month. Pam and I met quite some time ago through Ebay.
