IdRatherBeFlying

Kens Photoblog and Random and not-so random Thoughts. Sunday, March 04, 2007. Lone tree growing on slopes near Mt. St. Helens. This slope was not cleared by loggers. Instead, the forest that used to exist on this hillside was blasted away during the major eruption of Mt. St. Helens in 1981. Posted by kenp at 705 PM. Saturday, March 03, 2007. Not bad for a night-time hand-held shot looking out the window of a commercial jet! Posted by kenp at 1204 PM. Friday, February 09, 2007. Friday, December 22, 2.

Rather Be Healthy

This blog is all about natural health and avoiding the pitfalls in using drugs and prescription meds. She thought she was dying. She thought she was dying. Aluminum is a potent neurotoxin. Orange juice, avoid it.

One day at a time

Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Zoe left us today, leaving a huge hole in our lives. I have cried my eyes during the day- when the Doctor called to tell me that she had a growth in the colon that had extended to the liver, that it looked like cancer and that her prognosis was very poor- that no treatment was really available for her. She died peacefully, comfortably, humanely and with Barbara and I close to her.

Id Rather Be Hiking

Monday, May 4, 2009. I just love all of the color on the rock. The photo on the right shows the rock right in the middle of the raging torrent. One of these days there may be enough water come down this creek to move this large rock but until that day comes I will continue to visit and see what kind of photos I can come up with.
