The Great Wall of China. And now, for the piece de resistance! The gods smiled upon us and washed away the smog and gave us four beautiful, clear days in Beijing. The first day was the morning of our planned day at the Great Wall. We started the day with so much excitement because we knew we were in for a gorgeous day on the Wall. I had assumed that there would be meandering pathways, but every single step is an actual step that can vary from a few inches to about a foot in height.

Kids were out all day enjoying the last or what we thought might be the last snowtime. Easter egg hunts were canceled, but who needs them if you have a Snowman in your backyard! I had to dig out the clean and ready-for-storage snow clothes.

Sunday, April 28, 2013. On Saturday we went out to Hamer to visit Blake and to help Johanna get ready for Prom. It was pretty windy so Clara had to hold onto her hat the whole time. I think Clara is explaining why the lamb is dead to Essie. I am sure he could have finished a lot faster working by himself but he is a good Daddy and makes them feel important. Thursday, May 10, 2012. Just a sunday photo shoot. I cut both of the kids hair and Morgan lost a tooth. I have always wanted to do a mohawk on Chase since he was a baby. I attempted it and the back of his hair never co-operates. Morgan loves to pose for the camera. Finally got one of his cute smile. Sunday, April 24, 2011.

For any who still check on this forgotten blog there are some updates below. We have had a wonderful year full of fun and growth. We thank the Lord daily for the gift of the gospel of Jesus Christ. What a blessing to our growing family the knowledge of His Plan is. We love all of you and pray a great year for all of us. It was a first and really wonderful. My kids loved it! Here are a few pics I promised Annie I would post. This was truly a highlig.
