One of the most extraordinary events during my time there was the eruption of Merapi Volcano, located just 25 miles away from the city. By the time the eruptions ended in December, three hundred and fifty-three people had tragically lost their lives.

Los recuerdos de lo vivido en el día, a tu lado, invaden mi mente. No soporto recordar casi textualmente cada cosa que hemos dicho, e incluso escrito. A team of three had written the scenes and lines to be acted, another team had prepared the stage and wardrobe, and one with superior insight was directing the whole ensemble. It really was a remarkable event to see. And, yet it was a tragic demonstration of absentee living. The paid actors on stage were the more honest.
