Monday, May 19, 2014. A day in the life. Life has been crazy between school, appointments, hosting a huge rummage sale, and so much other stuff. There are some major changes happening soon in my life, trips to look forward too, classes to get done, etc. The nasty little buggers that I have living inside me. The Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, aka Lyme disease. And many nasty co-infections that can be just as brutal as the Lyme itself.

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. My family adopted two little boys with Down Syndrome from Ukraine in 2010. I hope to educate and to inspire you. I hope to make you laugh and to make you cry. Come along for the ride.

Saturday, May 16, 2009. What a great day! Chase received the gift of a Shocker baseball game date with grandpa which he cashed in on today! The wind was a little cool to start out with.
