Germany 2007, Day Seventeen, Belgium. Our intention was to stop in De Haan for a seaside walk and then at a supermarket in Blankenberge for the final beer shop. If you look at Belgium 2005. We did the same thing then, so we know where we are going and what we are doing, so there was no stress on out last day. In fact I find travelling via Zeebrugge particularly stress free compared to some other ports. Before too long though, it was time to continue with our j.
Thursday, 19 May 2011. Spain 2003, Day Eight, Santander. First we stop at the supermarket, there is not much in the way of good beers, so I just stock up with a few packs of Spanish stubbies, some cans of Hoegaarden and some wine, not a lot I know but as I mentioned before, we are heading off to France in June and can do a proper beer run then. Weather at Santander is really hot, something we had not expected this far north. Spain 2003, Day Seven, Haro.
My day-to-day life and the beers I drink. If you know me or of me, you will know I like beer. Over the last few years I have been collecting photos of every new beer I have. If you could click on an advert as you leave the blog I would be very grateful.
Sunday, 18 January 2015. Feeling much better this year, although I do feel much older, so a trip to France may be on the cards. We have been looking at a week away during the May half term holidays with Amber and young Ralph. Ralph has even said he will pay and drive, so that sounds good. More here when things are sorted. Thursday, 24 July 2014. Well this year we will not be going to France. So sorry, hope to be doing France again next year.
Our holidays in France and Belgium. Saturday, 28 May 2011. France 2010, Last Day. The 135 mile to St Malo should have taken about 2. 5 hours but we arrived just before kick-off time, the SatNav had tried so send us up a dirt track and I did do a wrong turn and had to repeat the last part of the journey into St Malo, it took about 4 hours. On arrival at Pool I asked where to park and where to pay and was told to park by the side of the building and not bother with any payment.
full of love, fustrations, laughter and hopefully happily ever after. It feels so good to wrap this project up. It literally took me 5 days. Not 24 hours a day though because my fingers were so sore I had to take breaks. Remember I wanted to dress up my drinks? The DIY Marathon takes off. What Are You Wearing Under There? March 17, 2012.
