This is my first trip to Latin America that has not been off the beaten path. Last December, I felt like every day was an adventure in trying to get to our next stop. Which by being the only Gringos around was confusing and exhausting.

I draw things I read. And some other stuff too. Simplistic drawing of Shailene Woodley. My own interpretation of Pocahontas, made with watercolour and polychromos. Not my usual sort of style, but I wanted to do something colourful for once.

Saturday, May 08, 2010. I stopped blogging last year, for various reasons. The main one was that a member of my family became suddenly and seriously ill. They did not want their illness made generally well-known and public. Since this blog at one time had a lot of readers, including people who know, or who know of my family, that meant I could not mention what was happening to my family here.
