Rachel Derstine is an award winning quilt artist living in Schwenksville, PA. Her quilts are characterized by the dynamic of movement and a sense of depth through color and design. Hand dyed fabrics, textural couching and intense machine quilting are prominent elements in her creations. Her work includes both decorative pieces such as art quilts, wall hangings, and more functional pieces such as lap quilts and table runners.
