In meantime I have to finish quilting on this Christmas table topper. What was I doing on Friday evening? Sewing with my online friends, of course. But this Friday I was not sewing, I was quilting. Here is finished quilt - blue version. They are going to be a present to little Sara and her brother David.
The little things that make me happy. Saturday, 7 March 2015. A lovely year of finishes March preparation. The laptop tells me my updates will be installed in 4 minutes so straight to business then back to holidaying. Must run, sewing and reading and playing are calling. Saturday, March 07, 2015. Last night I got a lot done. I put the binding on the quilt for our bed. Started hand sewing the back. I also pulled some winter themed prints and pieced a top to a new quilt top for the Living room. Nothing is better than a pile of scraps for a new quilt later. Three Finishes for The Craft Fair. On December 14th I will be joining my Mother-in-Law at a local craft fair.

Friday I spent a delightful afternoon with Jinny at a quilt shop and of course we both just had to by fabric and other goodies. Why is it so much more fun to start a project than finish one.
