Another year of schnibbles - finished. Tuesday, May 8, 2012. I love the color blue, so I decided to make some blue and white quilts to display for summer. The combination is so soothing and fresh. This is the first finished blue and white quilt. This was a pattern and fabric collection from Connecting Threads. This is the first time I have used their fabric and I like the results so far. A little corner of my world. Saturday, 9 August 2014. A look back at 2014 so far. Another year id flying by and still I have no time to blog. Time to make amends and have a quick update on the goings on in my life. Sewing Club is still as popular as ever and my teaching skills have been creeping into the regular school curriculum too. A whole village of toadstools were created by 14 of my students. They learnt new stitches like backstitch, chain stitch, lazy daisy and French knots.

This is a slow progressing quilt. It is sewn with EPP. Been spending lots of time and thought on selecting fabrics to get the look I want. It is not a finished top yet. Some thinking is needed before I continue sewing on it. So it is put back in its box for now. Bought the pattern for this adventcalendar a year ago. Had ambitions to finish it by desember 2014, but other temptations got in the way! This is as far as I got.
