Thursday, November 9, 2017. For the past seven years, I have had the honor of being an educator. Yes, it is an honor. It is a privilege, and it is a true blessing. And, it is also hard, humbling, draining, exciting, and every other emotion in-between. Friday, January 1, 2016. I hope you all had a happy and safe New Year. I did the normal stay at home in my PJs and hope to stay awake long enough to watch the ball drop. I did manage to do it this year! I must say I am ready to get back to work.

Tuesday, August 16, 2016. This has been a very difficult year for our family. We have cried a lot together, and we have grown a lot together. We have many challenges ahead, but we are grateful we have each other to lean on, and that we believe we will see him again. He has left a legacy of hard work and faith, and we are trying to continue to pass it on. Thank you for understanding our absence. We are working hard to find a new normal, and we are so excited to be back in the world of teaching.

Sure enough, the school bus came and went. So I herded my boys into the car and set off through the rain-soaked streets of suburbia.
Monday, April 27, 2015. I showed her many pink fabrics, but she was instantly smitten with this ballet pink silk georgette. We chose a simple fit and flare silhouette with a full skirt. Mom and Chloe were equally pleased. A tiny navy bow at the waist is a timeless color pairing.
