Monday, August 10, 2009. Was I surprised by the aisles devoted to Back-to-School supplies? No Was I taken aback by the Halloween decorations? Yes But most shocking - there was an aisle getting prepped for Christmas! I love the holidays. Luuuurve them! I will admit, though, that I am so jazzed about Halloween! Wednesday, February 12, 2014. This is the first project I undertook this year and I think it was a pretty good way to start the New Year. I have a dear family friend, Lori, who had been collecting plates for probably 25 years now. Most are from thrift stores, some from Mexico, and others are special family heirlooms. Friday, July 19, 2013. Oh my where has the time gone? Since I last posted, I started working in the classroom again, teaching English to my lovely students here in Michigan! My sweet twin boys are now EIGHT years old, and getting bigger by the minute. In between grading papers and attending conferences, playing pirate and stacking dominoes, I still manage to find time to do some crafting and sewing.
