PVS Room 12s Blog. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. On the 2nd of March we went by a bus to Birkenhead Leisure Centre. The trip was very long, over the harbour bridge and past the Sky Tower. We completed three tasks - bivy building, kayaking and rock climbing. We loved rock climbing the most because we got to climb the high wall which was very scary and exciting. The Hadron collider is a basic tube but very complicated it sends elements around long tubes. if the hadron collider sends uranium and splits it ,it sustains a nuclear chain reaction. The Atom,the atom is a basic unit of matter that consists of a dense central nucleus surrounded by a cloud of negatively charged electrons. Welcome to Room 25! This year, term one has been a very exciting and out going term filled with learning and madness and of course, lots of fun. In literacy this term our class was put into 3 groups; Jaguars, Cougars and Panthers. The Cougars reading group looked at the reading comprehension strategy of inferring. That is when they find information which is not directly stated in the text by using key words, key ideas and prior knowledge. I had a black cat call.
