Observations on life the universe and everything viewed through the eyes of me. As you can hopefully tell it holds good memories for us all and I was able to take comfort from that when being faced with such a difficult reason for being there this time. I found my body relaxing but my emotions being pounded.

Sunday, September 19, 2010. Today is world wide Talk like a Pirate day. Long John Silver, Captain Hook, Captain Jack Sparrow and their ilk will no doubt be fondly celebrated over a tot of rum and the rest. So I am not surpris.

I really think that blogging is one of those ideas that is great in theory but doesnt seem to work with my reality, I think the lack of internet access probably has something to do with it. I always seem to think about blogging when I am nowhere near a computer or when I supposed to be working. This time I have taken some of my well earned lunch break and decided to enter the cyber world.

For a long time now I have been pondering how we live - do we let people see who we truly are or do we only let people see what we want them to see? Who are you meant to be? We live our lives sometimes in a place of being someone we are not - wearing a mask, playing a part like an actor on a stage. What part are you playing today? Even then - are we ever truly ourselves? If we are not real with friends or with God are we.

Ok so in just over a months time im gonna have to go through the one year marker of loosing my dear friend mark. of all days its on fathers day! Tuesday, 18 November 2008. Another day full of memories. Tuesday, 24 June 2008. His funeral is due to be on either the tuesday or wednesday of the following week. I am meant to be flying out to ecuador on the monday of that week.
