Tuesday, 28 July 2015. Sunday 7th June 2015 - Grimley and Monkwood. Today I decided to take advantage of the decent weather and focus on Odonata. Thats dragonflies and damselflies to you and I. My plan was to visit a couple of sites that are just north of Worcester, starting with Grimley followed by Monkwood NR. Camp Lane Pits - Grimley. My first port of call was Camp Lane Pits at Grimley where I observed 4 species of dragonfly Black-tailed Skimmer. 9792; Black-tailed Skimmer Orthetrum cancellatum.CONTENT

Spear at Dudmaston Pools along with Common Blue and Blue-tailed Damselflies and Common and Ruddy Darters. Paul also saw quite a late Azure Damselfly and indeed I also saw one up on the Long Mynd this week. Still no word of Migrant Hawkers. Wednesday, 12 August 2015.
