Its a cold and rainy day, which to me is a perfect time to sit down with a cup of coffee and a new knitting project;. This is the beginnings of Shibuya. It was also a great day to bake chocolate chip cookies. Now its time to start working on my backlog of sewing projects that are in various stages of completion. I hope to be back later this week with some of those new garments, as well as a newly finished knitting project.

Thursday, February 03, 2011. A Tale of Two Sweaters. I completed two sweaters in the same weekend a little while back. Sweater one I started this past fall. Halletts Ledge. From Twist Collective, knit in buttery soft pure cormo from the Marthas Vineyard Fiber Farm now Juniper Moon Farm. I finished it in just a few months - pretty good for a lady who hasnt really been knitting much lately. The pattern is Shalom Cardigan. I do love it though, it is soft and comfy and warm!
