Friday, October 20, 2017. Room 1 have had a busy, yet fun filled Term 1. We learned all about our local community and the history of Renfrew. As part of this, we visited the Church and found out when it was built, and we also went on a walk around the community. We did a litter pick as we did this. We now know lots about where we live. Primary 1 have been looking at numbers to 10, working on our formation and counting skills. We have also looked at 2D and 3D shapes.
Tuesday, December 5, 2017. The YMCA visited the school and led some games with Rooms 2,4 and 6. We managed to stay dry for most of the session. The children enjoyed interacting with the other classes during the different games. The children in primary 1 have been working very hard and are looking forward to everyone coming in to watch them perform. Room 2 paid a visit to Waterstones at Braehead w.
The children have shown such enthusiasm and curiosity for our Titanic topic. They worked very hard towards the open afternoon which was a huge success! Thank you for all your support and kind comments. During our Titanic topic the children had an opportunity to explore the floating and sinking of objects. We made predictions and then tested these out together.
Wednesday, June 24, 2015. We have had a wonderful time in P3 and are so proud of our achievements. Well done to our very own Frozen stars; Zoe, Abbi and Nicole. Thursday, May 28, 2015. As part of our Healthy Humans topic we looked at our ear and sound. We had a fabulous afternoon exploring different sounds through some exciting experiments.

Our trip to Alloway, Ayr, to see the Robert Burns Birthplace museum and cottage. Being Burns workshop at The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum. Two volunteers dressed in clothes similar to what Robert Burns and Mary Campbell would have worn. Making butter in the Byre. This is where Robert was taught.
