On Aug. 6th, 2010 the USA suspended adoptions in Nepal. I was stranded Nepal with my adopted son while I waited for the US Govt. to grant him a Visa. I was able to return home with him on January 11, 2011 after nearly 4 months in Nepal. Children are abandoned by their families each and every day in Nepal.
