I was recently inspired by a book called Marvelous Journey Home. This story had a huge impact on me and changed my perspective on life. It is a true story about three Russian orphans who had their lives changed forever because someone was willing to love them and pay the price to salvage them. The story teaches that we can all save someone even with a simple act. I highly recommend reading the book, or listening to their inspiring story told on this podcast.

Polkadot Posies is participating in a silent auction benefiting the Turner Family. Tragically lost her husband in a car accident on October 6th and we are working with a group of friends to support her in the days, weeks, and months to come. After our tour of the home, we made our way to downtown. The downtown area is just around the corner from the site of the SLIH. What a charming area this is. Shops filled with antiques, home furnishings and gifts line the streets. You may remember this wreath. Then I added some new lamps and a mirror for take 2.
