Poetry Galore

Wednesday, July 30, 2008. The Spirit of Australia. The Spirit of Australia. I am the vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended. Im the sunburnt country and the flooded plains. Im the Barcoo and the Darling, Im the Yarra and the Swan. Im the muddy Murrumbidgee after rain. Im the sugar cane, the sack of wheat, Ive made this country rich. From the Golden Fleece that rides upon my back. Im on the stockroute back of Bourke, on the station way out west. I bind with steel the land beneath my rails.

Uniqueness is the art of being an individual. Stumble and fall right into love. Feels like drowning but keep your mind bright. Everything and nothing at once. Like bitter tea you keep in your cheeks. Until you taste the fine fruits and herbs. Excuse me waiter, can I have an Ice coffee please? Mdash;G. It is an one man show. Lone wolf returning from his haunt.

Tuesday, May 17, 2011. A special world for you and me. A special bond one cannot see. It wraps us up in its cocoon. And holds us fiercely in its womb. Its fingers spread like fine spun gold. Gently nestling us to the fold. Like silken thread it holds us fast. Bonds like this are meant to last. And though at times a thread may break. A new one forms in its wake. To bind us closer and keep us strong. In a special world, where we belong. My love, I have tried with all my being. But nothing seems worthy;.
