Saturday, January 05, 2013. Back in Dallas just before Christmas, Jen reluctantly tagged along with her father and I to go for a sporting clays session at Elm Fork. My parents gave me a gift certificate for Capitol City Trap and Skeet Club.
I have purposely kept this post image-less. No photo of mine could properly convey the atrocities of the Killing Fields. This post is not meant to be a history lesson. That is something left for the Internet and the powers of googling. Instead I relay the connection I have to this time period and to this region of the world.

Friday, March 4, 2011. As I write this blog today it has been a little over a week since my dearest sweetest Niki has passed. She was the light of my life and I loved her more than life itself. She was there to greet me everyday when I came home from work and was there every morning before I even woke up. She was my best friend and has been there for me when no others could. She was mine and we laugh about it to this day.
