Monday, March 18, 2013. We left early Sunday for the 4 and a half hour trip from Leadville to Moab. When we arrived we immediately set out on a hike in Negro Bill Canyon in order to tire the dog out before his stay in doggie daycare Monday. A tired dog is a good dog, right? Saturday, July 04, 2009. 4th of July in the suburbs. The past few years our 4th of July celebration has been watching fireworks on tv and listening to the booms of local fireworks displays and hisses of bottle rockets going off in the neighborhood. Or Option B, ride local maybe CCT to Wakefield, then later ride mtn bikes to Lake Fairfax to see the Reston fireworks, and maybe light some sparklers. Judd and I rode to Wakefield to meet Jen via the Cross County Trail.
