The next steps in our adoption of our daughter from China. These last few days have been filled with digestive issues, traveling, settling into a new city, and making sure we have all of our paperwork completed so that we can exit China and head back to the states with no static or barriers. Tomorrow leads us to Hong Kong for the night and then homeward bound.

Saturday, June 8, 2013. All Good Things Must Come to an End. I started this blog 4 years ago as we waited for Lexie to come home. This blog has allowed me to keep track of every milestone that Lexie has reached, the good times and the not so great times of raising a child. It is with great sadness that this will be the last post that I will write. This blog was such an important part of our lives. Writing about the big and small events in our lives gave me proof that our dream had finally come tr.

The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are. Every day, I am immensely grateful, but especially today. Two years ago, in Zhengzhou, China, The Goober and I became parents to our treasured twin sons; they were twenty-eight months old. Our boys, in videos taken almost precisely two years after we became a Family. Today is the first anniversary of our family, the monumental day that our unassuming little coupledom became a boisterous quartet.
