A Matter of Life and Breath. Light at the end of the tunnel. Since social networking became available, it has opened up a world of communication for people with CF. It gives us the opportunity to hear other peoples triumphs and struggles. We know that we are not alone anymore.

Daring to live, not merely exist. The life of me, a person living, trying to cope and come to terms with having life limiting illness. When life hands you an illness. Monday, February 28, 2011. Looks like I will be incarcerated until Friday. They are taking me to the neuro opthamologus Weds to see if they can see anything wrong there while we await the cultures of my spinal tap. Yes, this fucking sucks. I am down to 93lbs.

Wind, wind and more wind. Last week in Oxford, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust brought together. Along with the scientists and clinical staff, people with CF and their carers were represented. Add a dash of inspiration.

Today, is rumoured to be a day when many people feel down and experience depression. Christmas is a distant memory but the cost of the festivities are weighing down hard and the first payday of the year is still in the future. Might be time to move to move elsewhere.

Our ambassador Tor has now been waiting for a lung transplant for exactly 4 years today. She was only given 2 years left to live when listed, so she is well and truly on borrowed time.

Sunday, April 1, 2018. Coastal Roadtrip Part 1 - Gonubie. On Saturday the 17th we started our coastal road-trip. It consisted of 3 nights in Gonubie with my cousin Elette and her hubby Gareth. Then on to Port Elizabeth, my hometown, for 4 nights, and finally 6 nights at Storms River Mouth. My favourite place, out honeymoon destination and the place we always go back to.
