New to International Canoe sailing in 2006 I was attracted by the US proposal to resurect the old development design rules with new lighter boats. Thursday, March 11, 2010. I built models as a kid and then in 1980 I started RC flying with electric power. I have also been facinated with miniature models. Now most of my planes are under 200g and many are under 20g. From about 1982 to 1994 I wrote the Electric Flight column in Australian Airborne Magazine. What we used to have to make ourselves is now readilly available and very economical.
