I got some unfortunate news this morning, and suffice it to say there is a funeral this week that I feel I need to attend, even if it means flying halfway around the world without knowing when I will be able to come back. I had a late flight, so we checked out the famous shrine in Asakusa, which was conveniently right near our hostel. The long shopping arcade leading to the temple. The inside of the temple.
