Baritone PETER EDELMANN began his musical studies with his father, renowned opera basso Otto Edelmann. And at the University of Music and Performing Arts in his hometown of Vienna, Austria, where he graduated summa cum laude. He made his debut at the Theater Koblenz, Germany as the Herrufer in Lohengrin. In 1989 he won First Prize, the Mozart Prize in addition to seven special prizes at the Belvedere Competition. In 1990 he became a member of the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
