Time for a brief follow up. Coming off Cotopaxi it was very steep and I could feel my second toe on my left foot hitting the end of the boot with each step. I knew what this would mean down the road and I was too tired to care. Now the results of that apathy have come to fruition. My toe nail finally came off last weekend. It was actually pretty cool.
