Min fars have bugner af grøntsager i øjeblikket. Da jeg var hjemme på besøg, syltede min mor og jeg rødbeder. Hjemmesyltede rødbeder smager meget bedre end de konventionelle fra Beauvais. Der er mere bid i, og rødbedesmagen træder tydeligere frem. Lakridssmagen fra anisen passer fint til rødbederne. Til cremen i midten anvendte jeg hvid chokolade og lidt ekstra farve.
