2-364 Replacement Dapol Fruit D Chassis Quick Build. Last week my shop 2 order from the 2mm Association arrived through the post. Amongst other things I ordered there were 2 of the newly released etched chassis kits designed by Chris Higgs to replace the moulded N Gauge chassis on the GWR Dapol Fruit D wagon. Overall its a really nice kit and it improves .

Sunday, 2 August 2015. F is also for Fencehouses and footbridges . and C is for Coal tank. Not much progress to report on Lightcliffe since my last post - at least not by me . Ive had a couple of Saturday afternoons on the layout laying cobbles but didnt have my camera with me, so no photos. Must remember to take it with my to the next Group meeting on Saturday. So what have I been up? Semi-complete upper panels - glazing bars and glazing still to be added. But none of this has got anything to do wi.CONTENT

Overview of progress to date. I have been busy laying Easitrac for the last few weeks, I have now completed most of the track for the scenic section except for the area around the turnouts. All has gone reasonably well though I do find that the Easitrac glue dries very fast which can make laying the track difficult. Thankfully most of the track is straight so I aligned the track against a ruler before pushing it into the glue. Test running track with a selection of locomotives.
