Soon Penny, Cob and four Cygnets appeared in our yard and the daily visits resumed with our now expanded family. While swans are very vigilant about protecting their young, Penny and Cob had no problem with us lying down on the ground within a few feet of their Cygnets snapping away with our cameras.
