Pearlie Mae Frierson Leach lived a life of love and service in both her personal and professsional life. She was loved by friends and family and all who made her acquaintance. Pearie Mae was our Aunt and we loved her dearly. In May of 2009 she died. It was her care and treatment that led us to develop this blog. Back in February I read an article in the Kansas City Star about an organization that was providing birthday parties to children in Kansas City, Kansas whose families were struggling to make ends meet.
