Monday, December 1, 2008. Our project is about the nutritional needs of a moderately active teen. When we speak of moderately active, we mean a teen who participates in one team sport, and practices for one to two hours, three times a week. This is only our example, but anything around that will pass as moderately active. Teens need to eat a variety of different foods, in order to get the different nutrients that they need.
