A walk at Parrs Wood. School children from all over the city visited regularly to learn about gardening and wildlife. In 1990 the responsibility for running the Centre was handed over to a new voluntary group, Friends of PWRSC. The project closed in 1998 to make way for the rebuilding of the area.
