Some thoughts from a 26 year-old guide in the Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. Tuesday, July 20, 2010. After a lot of thought, torturous deliberation, near daily vacillation, months of indecision and fence sitting came to an end when I tendered my resignation as a guide and packed my bags for that long stateside flight home.
