Friday, November 23, 2012. The week that was! Those of us in business as longarm quilters dont come up for air much at this time of year but I needed a breather and thought Id share a little of what Ive been up to this week. These quilts belong to 2 new customers, mother and daughter beautifully pieced. This in one of Jeannies quilts she is a prolific quilter and had actually forgotten that shed given me this one to quilt. Called Exquisite. The quilt itself is called Galette and was .Patter.CONTENT

Tuesday, January 21, 2014. New Year, New quilts. Last year I think I only sewed. I certainly didnt knit, crochet or make anything other than quilts. I had far too many trips away from home but still had an enjoyable year. My sister has finished all her treatment and is now doing pretty well, we have our first great nephew or niece on the way and everyone is well. It has been such a lovely project to do, and I have really had such wonderful feedback. This is an adaptation of the Flo.
My quilts- mostly my own designs with a few antique reproductions popped in. This naive quilt is loosely based on early needlework samplers. The quilt features a field of flowers, leaping rabbits, snowdrops and whimsical birds. The whimsical designs are divided into seven mailouts, the first being mailed in early November. Pattern only within Australia and all international.
Wednesday, August 27, 2014. New Owner For Patchwork on Central Park. Just letting everyone know the new owner is keeping all Liberty and all fabrics in the shop, so online and the shop will be staying the same. Lovely Anna and Effie are both staying. My last Day is next Saturday. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Goodbye to Patchwork on Central Park. Next Saturday is my last day in East Malvern! You will find me at Scarlet Jones.
My quilting, embroidery, and sewing adventures. This week I stumbled upon another blog that featured a tutorial for a ticker-tape quilt, and I was hooked! 0160; So I just HAD to make 1 block to see if I would like this method of making a whole quilt. And finished off with a lovely red block .
