That means I did not run the Rothman 8k, which I had been training for. The thought of coughing and worse in a crowd of hundreds of runners was just not appealing to me. Saturday, August 4, 2012. Really fun and exciting things happening! But I did it. I jumped off that platform with only a harness hanging from line to hold me. Every time I jumped it was soooo scary, but riding down the rope was sooo fun! Crazy stuff. It was worth the scary.
