Monday, April 15, 2013. Big Apple Pittie Pack Update. About a year ago, I was involved in the start-up of a local pack walk called the Big Apple Pittie Pack. Group, a Facebook page. Did research on how other pack walks around the country operated and even had a snazzy graphic designed by our friends at Our Waldo Bungie. Every weekend, the weather conditions were either unsafe for our dogs or unpleasant for the humans. And sadly, we have come to the decision that.
A place to celebrate pit bull-like dogs while changing minds. Two young men witnessed the incident from their apartment and took her in. She was hospitalized at our emergency vet, where she had surgery to amputate her tail, and was treated for infection and malnutrition, along with some other injuries.
I like to think that I could love another dog. I dream of being a two-dog household and maybe even making room for one or two more in the semi-near future. Hattie was such a doll.
