I have always loved the natural environment. I am uplifted and renewed whenever I surrounded myself with trees, mountains, or ocean. I enjoy walking and photographing those places little changed by my fellow man. And now the Cave was rushing toward one of the best of these unspoiled treasures. I spent a glorious first week exploring the northern Icefields Parkway. Hiking into emerald lakes and, where the road allowed, climbing to the foot of glaciers, now sadly retreating as our inability to coexist .
