I am super lucky to have a wonderful group of people in my life. I am going to be staying in wonderful Texas for 13 more weeks. going to have to try and fill up the days. Today we went to Amarillo to get a choke chain for Toby, a Army sign from Appleseed Junction, and some glue at Hobby Lobby. I WANT THAT ONE! They love cherry donuts! UH NO WAY WAS I GOING IN! Sunday, August 2, 2015. Well, this is my worst showing yet. In July I finished only a single book for my own enjoyment. But they are quite convincing. The narrator grows as a person, over the course of a year, and winds up impressing the reader. But it was slow progress.

This Thanksgiving I was blessed to meet a wonderful, saintly woman. I learned so much from this dear lady in her mid-eighties. She is one of those people who exude the presence of Christ in everything they do. I hope to remember my time with Winnie for many years to come.
