Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Semi-Annual Texas Wilcox Family Campout Spring 2017 to Bastrop State Park. Another one for the books! We had a ball, and Bastrop State Park is recovering nicely from the big 2011 fire. The weather was gorgeous, we even had some nice fog in the morning. We all agreed the facilities were the best we had encountered at any of the Texas state parks we had been to yet. We suspect they had to be replaced due to the fire.

Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Today is a perfect day. The weather is beautiful - sunny, 75 degrees, breezy. I opened all of the windows and the fans are going, so it feels nice and airy and fresh inside.

Sunday, April 19, 2015. For my birthday this year, Tim surprised me with a family day at the Springs Preserve! The kids skipped school and we had a fun day playing together. I give her the flyswatter, she hands it to Dessie who can reach higher, and that is the end of the spider. Me Making dinner. Nothing is better than free food! Why is she all alone?
