I have been working a lot in the yard and redecorating the deck. I decided to go with a patriotic theme this year for Summer. My neighbor gave me these wonderful Adirondack chairs that needed some work but had great bones. In keeping with the patriotic them, I cut stars out of outdoor vinyl and added blue cushions. Saturday, July 30, 2016. Got out to do a little thrift-ing today. I am a vintage cookbook junkie! Scored this adorable Susan Branch recipe binder. Love the stickers and index cards. This is a cute resin rolling pin wall hanging. And to quench my shabby chic side, I found this pretty silver pitcher, a cute little rose vase and a Laura Ashley canister. Lastly I found this vintage refrigerator meat drawer. Its perfect to hold lunchmeats and cheese in my modern refrigerator.

Saturday, January 31, 2015. Parents of my future great grandson! Yep, going to be a great-grandmother! I quilted this little quilt for Jackson Rhea who is due any time! Never saw such happy parents to be! The cat is just a fun one I did and will keep until I find a cat lover for it to go home with! My first rug hooking project!
