Wednesday, December 16, 2009. This week we got to leave the classroom and visit GOODWILL. This is an amazing opportunity for them to be able to work, earn money, learn things they may not of had an opportunity for! This was our last week of class. I really wish Sue Whitney could of came to talk to us about junking, because I think what she does is really cool! But, we had fun going over our junking projects! I also loved the eco-chic lifestyle change! I may.
This week we took a tour of the local Goodwill. Not only was it interesting to see how they distribute all of the things people drop off there, but I learned that they employ mentally disabled people. I thought that was very cool. It was fun to make those habits! This week we presented our junk projects. mine being a traveling storage case for your backpack or purse.
