I knew when I put this on the frame last week it would be a doozy! My customer spent a year on this quilt. Lots of English paper piecing and needle turn applique in this beauty. The quilting needed to be only the background so her work would shine! I never went into her solid fabrics as she had done a bold, hand stitching on these blocks.
Trying to look for the postive. The last few weeks have been a bit rough and I havent really felt like blogging. Ive not been doing any crafting, boxfit has now been cancelled and its been too cold and wet to get out walking. Ive been a bit fed up, sick of being skint and generally wanting to hibernate. OK, the good things. The new job is perma.

Id seen the quilt and hadnt really thought much about it. After she mentioned signing up though the quilt started to whisper to me, and then shout, So to shut it up I too have signed up.
