Design and construction of a 50 MHz ssb transceiver. I was able to get a power module for 50 MHz for little money. It can deliver 20 Watt by 200mw input. This can restart the 50 MHz transceiver project that is on the shelve for more than a year. This pictures shows the current status. Working, more or less. It has been a long time after the last entry. Building was going on though.

I may build this someday. For Now I use a TX delay when repeaters are used. A good low noise preamp may help to improve sensitivity. The sensitivity is not bad but my yeasu is better. Construction of spectrum analyzer using UDT-401 tuner. Strong harmonics are created internally when the signal level is high. Signals must be attenuated 20 db. This reduces dynamic range to 50 db. So, although dynamic range is 70db , only 50 db is available for measuring harmonics. I am adding dipswitches to the processor board.
