We actually gave the group until 1030 AM to get their luggage to the lobby and check out. Their plane doesnt leave for another 12 12 hrs so we had to get a few more sites in before they leave. Friday, June 12, 2015. Friday, June 12 - Our last full day in Israel was very busy. This morning our bus picked us up for our visit to Bethany, the home of Mary and Martha and the tomb where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Our second stop for the day was The Valley of the Shadow where we could see the St George Monastery that is in a deep valley. We had a drive by look at Herodian and stopped for a picture. And Peter denied him 3 times. And the Golden Menorah that has been built for the 3rd Temple.
On Wings of Eagles CT - Italy 2015. Monday, June 29, 2015. Today was an easy day. Got up early, as always and saw a beautiful sunrise off our patio. After breakfast we headed out to catch the cog railroad train that took us from Domodossola to Lacarno Switzerland. We walked around Locarno and had lunch close to the lake. We had plenty of time for shopping and walking around town. The girls had to have time to play on the playground. Friday, June 26, 2015.
Friday, October 17, 2014. We started off with a visit to the Catacombs. Next was St Peter in Chains where the Michelangelo statue of Moses sits. We found out that the likely reason Michelangelo put horns on Moses is because the Hebrew word for horns and for shining is the same word. We then went across the street to the Forum.
